SAFRA Al99,7/1070

Aluminium wires and rods for welding alloys with mostly pure aluminium basis (maximum 0,5% of alloyed elements). Applications in chemistry, electronics, construction and food industries.

SAFRA Al99,5Ti/1450

Aluminium wires and rods for welding of alloys with mostly pure aluminium basis (maximum 0,5% of alloyed elements). Titanium acts as-grain refiner offering the material special characteristics as, for example, a higher corrosion resistance. Applications in the chemistry, construction and food industry.

SAFRA AlCu6MnZrTi/2319

The alloy AlCu6MnZrTi/2319 is heat treatable and produces higher strength and ductility than the 4xxx series filler alloys when welds in 2014, 2036, 2219 and Al-Cu casting alloys are post welds heat-treated.

SAFRA 4008

Alloy 4008 is produced with controlled lower levels of impurities than those present in alloys 4010 and 356.0, A356.0 and A357.0. It is a product that meets the chemistry requirements of AMS4181.
Alloys 356.0, A356.0 and A357.0 are typically used to manufacture sand and permanent mold castings. Alloy 4008 is an excellent choice to join or repair these castings and, if needed, it can be heat treated in order to increase its mechanical properties.

SAFRA AlSi5/4043

Aluminium wires and rods for welding alloys with maximum 2% alloying elements and for aluminium alloys containing up to 7% of Si. Excellent flowability and penetration characteristics. Applications in the construction sector and in the automotive industry.

SAFRA AlSi12/4047

Aluminium wires and rods for welding and brazing. Good mechanical characteristics: its excellent corrosion resistance and low melting point ensure a very low number of deformations in the parent metal. This material is generally used for brazing aluminium sheets, for extrusions and castings (after anodizing the welding will be of a different colour).

SAFRA AlMg2,7Mn/5554

The alloy AlMg2,7Mn/5554 has been developed for high temperature applications without becoming sensitive to stress corrosion. The alloy AlMg2,7Mn/5554 is also suitable for welding the basis metal 5454 with the 6000 series. This alloy is recommended for a wide range of applications in the industry in general and in the structural industry, in particular, whenever high temperature processing is needed.

SAFRA AlMg3/5754

Wires and rods for welding aluminium basis alloys with maximum 3% Mg. These alloys are suitable for a big range of applications in the construction sector, in general, and in the structural industry. They are corrosion-resistance and show an excellent colour-uniformity after anodizing.

SAFRA AlMg5/5356

Aluminium wires and rods for welding alloys with aluminium and magnesium basis, with maximum 5% Magnesium. High corrosion resistance. Applications in the construction of ships, storage tanks, railways and in the automotive industry.

SAFRA AlMg5Mn1Ti/5556

The 5XXX alloy series is an excellent combination of strength, weldability, corrosion resistance and toughness, making them ideal for applications where the above combination of characteristics is required. Alloy 5556 has slightly higher chemistry of Magnesium and Manganese with respect to 5356 alloy. In shipbuilding industry, the alloy is mostly used where slightly higher mechanical characteristics are required with respect to typical 5183 consumable alloy. As with all 5XXX series alloys with an Mg content higher than 3%, it is strongly recommended not to use them where welds are exposed to prolonged elevated temperatures.
